We are absolutely happy with this establishment, all three times we came to explore the Eastern Sierra, we decided to stay in June Lake Motel. The place is located in the middle of the beautiful scenery, next to the lake and short distance to hiking trails and ski slopes, it worth coming any season. It is easy to find - on the main street of the June Lake Village, just off the main highway 395. The motel itself is run on par with ant 5-star establishment. The quality of cleaning is A+, all rooms are non-smoking, no cleaning or other odors which bugs me sometimes in chain motels. The best bet would be to get a room with kitchen - you get a decent-sized kitchen (sits 4), equipped with a standard fridge, microwave, coffee machine, utensils, all kinds of plates, knives, cups and even a crockpot... And that We decided to skip the cafe next door for our breakfasts and a dinner just because it was like home ;) They have several outside BBQs, which expanded our cooking options... Reservation was pretty simple both online and over the phone, with all the policies and pricing and room details clearly explained. First time I called for reservations and info, the owner spent about half an hour answering all my questions... Generally, staff is very friendly and helpful, our requests were addressed quickly. Like I said, we are coming back again, this will be our base camp for future quick-getaway (and, maybe, not-so-quick) vacations. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends...
